– this must be prioritized over the development and use of machines

3. Equality
– AI should be used to facilitate the creation of greater equality

4. Transparency and accessibility
– AI should be accessible to all

5. Accountability
– humans must be accountable for all the consequences of AI use

6. Privacy
– individuals and groups must be able to keep their data secure

7. Protecting Safety and Security
– AI must be low-risk, secure, yet available when needed
